Our Story
CIERA'S VERSION
It was a warm, gorgeous, sunny beautiful day in 2017 in the city of Fayetteville, NC! Some of my sorors of the BEST sorority (Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc that is) wanted to to hang out. We were invited to an Alpha cookout at Fayetteville State University. Sooo, we get there, I'm a little a parched (for an adult beverage of course). I see this brown skin, black and gold wearing. pretty smile having Alpha on the grill. He says, " a lil Delta, you want something to drink?" Well apparently he didn't have my drink of choice, so he had his frat brother give up his special stash for me so he could get a few cool points. Well...that led to small talk, which led us exchanging the digits.
RYAN'S VERSION
Now technically I had seen this fine specimen shopping at Walmart some time earlier. As she walked to her car, I shot a glance in her direction & I thought to myself, if it’s meant to be, I’ll see her again. Fast forward to the Frat cookout, I'm on the grill & guess who shows up? Immediately, I extended some hospitality and asked her what was her beverage of choice. When she said Hennessy, I went into a slight panic for two reasons: 1, I didn’t have any & 2, women who drink Henny usually have some thug tendencies. But hey, she was pretty and that smile was mesmerizing ! I knew one of my brothers had a stash saved for himself and I coerced him to let me have it. I brought it to her, she smiled, and I knew it was time to ask her for her phone number. She pretended like she had to think about it and then she gave it to me. I know it was the chicken. :) We’ve been talking ever since and I’m still cooking for her.
